Alessia Nora

Research fellow at the Acoustics Laboratory of the Department of Industrial Engineering (DIN). Her research focuses on the acoustic characterisation of wooden buildings, remarkably resilient profiles to reduce lateral transmission, and the design treatment for acoustic comfort and compliance with passive acoustic requirements for environments such as classrooms, open-plan offices, churches and auditoriums.


She obtained his Master's Degree in Building Engineering-Architecture in the academic year 2021/2022 with a thesis on the integrated design, acoustics and lighting, of a hall that became a lecture hall on the Forlì campus. She is currently a researcher, focusing on the acoustic climate of the areas outside and inside the hospital pavilions and identifying general environmental noise mitigation strategies.
