Researcher in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Modern Cultures of the University of Bologna. She works on the literature and cultures of official Portuguese-speaking countries. She currently researches memories and counterpowers in contemporary Brazilian literature and coordinates a project, co-constructed with local communities, on indigenous Brazilian literatures and cultural heritages in Europe. Her research interests include decolonial studies, feminists, and anticolonial networks in Lusophone contexts (with a particular attention on the educational and pedagogical application of the research). Previously, she worked as a research fellow, focusing on women's writing and memory on the Brazilian military dictatorship. She completed her doctorate in Literary and Cultural Studies in 2018, dedicating her thesis to the theory of Cultural Anthropophagy. A graduate in Philosophical Sciences, she has held periods of study and research at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Universidade Estadual de Campinas and Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
