Short Bio

He studied his master's degree in Engineering Hydrology at Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. He did his master's thesis on ''Spatial Analysis of Groundwater Potential Using GIS Based Multi Criteria Decision Analysis Method in Lake Tana Basin, Ethiopia''. Now, he is a PhD student in Future Earth, climate change and societal challenges at University of Bologna, Italy. He currently focuses his PhD research on Seasonal forecasting of East African rains and its connection to modes of climate variability.
