Associate professor at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences of the University of Bologna, she carries out research in the field of crop quality. The research interests are directed in particular to cereal crops, grain legumes and botanical species in low input cropping systems. Engaged in national and international research projects, she collaborates with various European Institutes. Author of numerous publications, in 2012 she received the 6th Montana Prize for Agribusiness Research (category: Nutrition and Health).
