Graduate Semiotics (D.A.M.S., University of Bologna) with Umberto Eco.
PhD Semiotics (Umberto Eco and Paolo Fabbri).

Lucio Spaziante (PhD Semiotics) carries out research and teaching activities in the field of media, audiovisual language, music and youth cultures.

He has taught at several Italian universities (Ferrara, Modena and Reggio Emilia, IULM) and conducted research in Belgium, France, Great Britain and the United States. From 2009 to 2013 he was Vice President of the AISS (Italian Association for Semiotic Studies).
