She is a Research Fellow at the Department of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Bologna, where she recently submitted the Ph.D. thesis titled “Closing the loops: water - energy - bioeconomy nexus in a systemic framework” in Agricultural and Food Economics and Policy. She will graduate in March 2025. Prior to this, she completed a Master’s degree in Agricultural and Food Economics Policy at SMEA - Università Cattolica (Cremona) with laude in 2019 and she received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Markets, and Institutions from the University of Bologna in 2017.
Her main research interests lie at the intersection of environmental and agricultural economics, with a focus on water resources management in the context of climate change. Specifically, this includes the economic assessments of drought along with its socio-economic impacts on bioeconomy systems.
