Jeyhun Mammadov, an Azerbaijanian researcher and Ph.D. candidate of the Faculty of Agriculture, Food Science, and Technology (STAAA) at the prestigious University of Bologna (UniBO), Italy, holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in soil science and agrochemistry from the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University.
Jeyhun commenced his career in 2020 as an agronomist, focusing on hydroponic tomato production in one of Azerbaijan's top greenhouse complexes. His strong interest for creative ideas in agriculture has led him to collaborate closely with Professor Ç.Murat, making significant contributions to innovative research on pests and diseases that impact tomato plants.
Continuing to expand his expertise in the field of plant diseases, Jeyhun is under the guidance of Professor Mr. Claudio Ratti at UniBO's Department of Food Safety and Agriculture. His current research focuses on plant nutrition and tomato viruses
