I am a PhD candidate in Sociology at the Department of Political and Social Sciences. My research focuses on educational inequalities, with particular emphasis on how educational trajectories and outcomes might be influenced by migration background. The study examines the dynamics contributing to disparities in educational attainment and how these have changed over time, especially during periods of disruption, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
Beyond my primary research, I am interested in social stratification, ethnic inequalities, and the intersection of education with broader societal structures, such as higher education and the job market. I use quantitative methods, including multilevel and longitudinal analysis.
