Antonio Giordani

I hold a BS degree in Physics and a MS degree in Atmospheric Sciences. In 2023 completed my PhD at the University of Bologna in the course "Future of the Earth, Climate change and Societal challenges" (https://phd.unibo.it/future-earth-climate-change-societal-challenges/en) with a thesis on the first validation and application of a new high-resolution atmospheric reanalysis dataset (SPHERA) developed by ARPAE, the Regional Agency for Prevention, Environment and Energy of the Emilia Romagna region.

My main interests are dynamical meteorology, numerical modeling, and  the study of high-impact extreme meteorological events.

I have experience in the development of exploratory visualization tools for data analysis
