Pre-enrolment change and reallocation

Change of your pre-enrolment degree programme at the University of Bologna

You can make a pre-enrolment change if you are in the following situation:

• you are a non-EU student residing abroad;
• you have pre-enrolled on Universitaly in a degree programme at the University of Bologna;
• you need to change your pre-enrolment.

Send your request for change of pre-enrolment via email to the International Desk from your @ studio.unibo.it box, indicating the new degree programme you want to pre-enrol in.

The International Desk will evaluate your request and it will re-open or update your pre-enrolment on Universitaly.

Important:

• check the requirements and the deadlines for admission to the new degree programme of your interest well in advance. Go through the admissions process. You will be able to enrol in the new degree programme only if you are admitted (and if you have paid the first instalment of the tuition fees within the deadlines);
• you also need to meet the Italian language requirement, for degree programmes in Italian language;
• make sure, through the “dichiarazione di valore” (Declaration of value) or equivalent documents, that your qualification is valid for the new degree programme you have chosen. The final qualification check will be done by the Student Administration Office at matriculation.

There are no recovery or reallocation procedures for the a.y. 2024/25.

Reallocation to a degree programme at the University of Bologna

You can apply for reallocation to a degree programme at the University of Bologna if you are in the following situation:

• you are a non-EU student residing abroad and
• you have pre-enrolled on Universitaly.it at a university other than the University of Bologna and your pre-enrolment application has already been validated by the other university and
• you wish to enrol in a degree programme at the University of Bologna.

In order to apply for reallocation:

1. check the requirements, methods and deadlines for admission to the degree programme you are interested in well in advance. Carry out the admission procedures. You’ll be able to register for the degree programme only if you have been admitted (and if you paid the first instalment of tuition fees within the set deadline);
2. if you are interested in a degree programme taught in Italian, you need to meet the Italian language requirement;
3. make sure, through the “dichiarazione di valore” (Declaration of value) or equivalent documents, that your qualification is valid for the new degree programme you have chosen. The final qualification check will be done by the Student Administration Office at matriculation;
4. fill in and submit the reallocation application form to the International Desk, which will be available on the attachments of this page, along with all the documents required. Important: the signature on the form must be handwritten, legible and complete; it must include your entire name and surname as shown on the enclosed copy of your passport or identity document, in the Latin alphabet;
5. deliver a copy of the reallocation form also to the university you previously pre-enrolled for.

Reallocation to a degree programme at another university

If you pre-enrolled at the University of Bologna and wish to apply for reallocation to another university, you must submit the application to the university you wish to be reallocated to, using the forms drawn up by the other university.
