Learning outcomes
The student knows the principles of language service provision in the field of translation of languages for special purposes in different language combinations and in different domains, including but not limited to the legal, financial and medical one; s/he is able to implement the main language service provision standards in professional settings.
Course contents
The seminars and the workshop will focus on issues linked to the translation in health communication.
The following aspects will be addressed: terminology, textual types, translations methodologies in the field of health communication; accessibile communication; central role of interpreters and translators in bi- and multilingual health communication.
