B5084 - Persian Language and Linguistic Exercises 1

Course contents

NOTE PLEASE The ‘Esercitazioni di Lingua e Linguistica Persiana 1' (27 September - April), held by mother-tongue teacher Dr Negar Abbasi Boroujeni, are an INTEGRATIVE PART of the ‘Lingua e Linguistica Persiana 1’ course (see relevant website) held by Prof. Nahid Norozi.

For the exams of Persiano 1 (ARCO), Lingua e Letteratura Persiana 1 (Master Degree), Lingua e Cultura Persiana (SVIC), students are required to attend ONLY the first part (from 27 September to December), while attendance in the second semester (February-April) is optional.



KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO BE ACHIEVED

Oral Production: at the end of the lessons of Persian Language and Linguistics Exercises 1 (integrated to the Persian Language and Linguistics 1 course), the student will be able to use pleasantries, introduce himself or herself or other people in a simple way, describe various living or working conditions, everyday situations, making use of simple expressions on the basis of the learned structures.

Written Production: the student will be able to write a series of simple sentences using the structures and expressions learned.
Listening Comprehension: the student will be able to understand enough to meet needs of a concrete and elementary type.
Written text comprehension: the student will be able to understand short, simple texts of familiar content and concrete type, formulated in the language that normally occurs in everyday life.
The course will focus more on the Persian language (Farsi) spoken in Iran and will include numerous exercises in writing and reading easy passages, and listening.

B. For students from other degree courses with the following examinations: Persiano 1 (ARCO), Lingua e Letteratura Persiana 1 (12 cfu, Master Degree), Lingua e Letteratura Persiana 1A (6 cfu, Master Degree) Lingua e Cultura Persiana (10 cfu SVIC), the first call will take place in January 2025.
