Learning outcomes

The aim of the seminar is to provide students with the main tools and essential methodologies, both content-related and didactic-educational, for the teaching of legal sciences and of digital citizenship issues and topics, conceived in their real learning context.

Course contents

The course will consist of two modules.

Module 1 will deal with the main educational methods applicable to the teaching of law, with particular reference also to its civic and educational implications.
Elements of pedagogy (main authors and paradigms) will be covered and a basic analysis of the main methodologies for teaching law will be provided;

Modul 2, on the technologies for the didactics of law, will deal with topics such as:

  • History and introduction to the technologies for the didactics of law
  • e-learning and law
  • Serious games and law
  • Conceptual and ontological maps for law
  • Law and computational thinking
  • Apps for teaching law

Readings/Bibliography

For the purposes of the exam, students attending the course are required to prepare the materials that will be published on the Virtuale page of the seminar.

Students who were not attending the seminar are required to prepare the materials that will be published on Virtuale and one chapter at their choice of V. Marzocco, S. Zullo. Th. Casadei, La didattica del diritto. Metodi, strumenti e prospettive. Pacini Giuridica, 2021.

Teaching methods

Please, note that the whole seminar will be delivered online, as it takes part to the University's teaching experimentation project.

Given the specific aims of the course, some of the classes will follow an interactive approach: beyond the explanations, the students will be involved in discussions and laboratories focused on the methodologies and other topics explained during the course.

Assessment methods

The examination will consist of writing a teaching activity project to be uploaded onto the Virtuale page of the seminar.

Teaching tools

Powerpoint slides will be used, and further reading and supplementary materials for individual study will be provided during the course.

Students with special needs related to different forms of disability or to DSA, are welcome to contact their teacher in order to be referred to the contact persons and to arrange the most appropriate measures to be taken.
