Learning outcomes
The goal of this course is to introduce students to the relation between the legal system and the economic system, specifically to the legal aspects of market regulation and public finance in Europe.
Course contents
The course aims at providing students with the analysis and comprehension of the following topics:
1. the State intervention in economy and the role of public regulation, especially in the organisation, managing and supply of services of general interest
2. the legal framework of "shared administration" and public-private partnerships, with particular reference to EU law.

Teaching methods
Combination of traditional lectures, discussions and project work on public-private partnerships.
Communications and all the materials relating to classes will be uploaded on VIRTUALE. Students are strongly requested to check it out repeatedly.
Assessment methods
The final examination will be an hour-long test, consisting of 6 open questions concerning both the essential readings and the classes'contents.
