At the end of the module the student has an understanding of the Functional Models of Health and knows the nursing methodology to progressively respond to the different degrees of care complexity that the person/family/community presents.

Course contents

In reference to the following functional models of Health by M. Through the specific objectives, the aim is to develop skills regarding:

- the identification of the functional and dysfunctional data of each functional model;

- the identification of nursing diagnoses as a response to Nursing Assistance needs;

- the identification of healthcare objectives in terms of outcomes;

- the identification of nursing interventions and scientific evidence in reference to the defined outcomes;

- the identification of indicators for evaluating nursing care in reference to the defined outcomes;

- the management of the nursing care process relating to each functional model.
