Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student acquires the teaching techniques and tools for managing sporting activities with people with disabilities and knows the various types of deficits: physical, intellectual, relational, sensorial. In particular, the student, by evaluating its importance, acquires a greater level of emotional awareness, a fundamental aspect in managing relational dynamics with people with disabilities. The student learns the different communication techniques aimed at managing activities also through the presence, in the module, of a part of theoretical intervention to be carried out in the classroom and a part of practical intervention to be carried out in the gym. Furthermore, the student knows and acquires the various methodologies of adapted and non-adapted sporting activities, and the following unstructured activities: objectives, planning and programming, method of conducting unstructured situations, contents, evaluation. Finally, the student knows the rules and is able to use and adapt the teaching methodology of team play in different deficit situations, also through appropriate management of motor interventions with disabled people, paying particular attention to the dynamics of relationships and communication in the conduct of motor interventions aimed at people with deficits (mental, physical and sensorial). The student is therefore able to plan, conduct and manage programs of adapted sporting and physical activity, identifying integration as the primary objective of all interventions aimed at people with disabilities and socio-affective empowerment as a tool to give motivation to be promoters of your own well-being.
