Learning outcomes

The student should be able to to understand general pedagogical and educational principles with their application to nursing theory and practice. Specifically, the student is able to evaluate the formative , educational and relational skills present in holistic nursing.

- The  health care's directions

- Equity and inequalities in healthcare: a pedagogical reading

- The experience of illness, from “biographical destruction” to meaning making.

- The "intangible dimension" of the caring: educational, communicative and relational competence in care professionals.

Bibliographic references (monographs, scholarly articles) for each topic covered will be given throughout the lectures,

The slides presented in the course of the lecture, uploaded to the appropriate platform, show the essential features of the topics covered and therefore are accompanied by the bibliographical references to be referred to for study

Teaching methods

The course includes moments of frontal teaching during which student participation and discussion on the topics covered is stimulated
