Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student should know: the gene expression and its regulation, inheritance and gene susceptibility (in particular human gene related to performance and muscle strength); he/she will know about new technology and gene teraphy, gene doping and gene delivery used to enhance sports performance.
Moreover the student shoud aquire a scientific language and the concept of scientific method

Gene expression and regulation mechanisms
Mendelian and non-mendelian genetics
Genoma variability (SNPs)
Gene susceptibility and genes associated to sports performance
New technologies, gene therapy and gene doping
