Learning outcomes
The aim of the workshop is to explain the legal framework and the overall system of regulation of commercial communications, the rules that govern the advertising market and its fundamental dynamics. In particular, will be analyzed and understood the relationship between advertising market resources, media financing in the ever changing media landscape, and the guarantee of pluralism. The students at the end of the Workshop will be therefore able to recognize the main public and private subjects involved, their skills and responsibilities; the regulation of the contents of commercial communications in the individual media and therefore the possible options for identifying which media is suitable for the message to be conveyed; the processing of personal data for commercial purposes and, in particular, the role of Over The Top - OTT operators.
