Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student has the technical knowledge of vital signs detection, blood pressure values and saturation, ABC, preparation of intravenous drip, intramuscular and IV technique and technique for arterial sampling for blood gas analysis
Course contents
the organization of health professions (professional orders and profiles)
working in a team
vital parameters (heart rate, respiratory rate, saturation, blood pressure, temperature)
ABC (Airway-breathing-circulation) cardiopulmonary resuscitation
venous access for the collection of laboratory samples (blood samples and )blood cultures) (pre-analysis and nurses)
intravenous drips and the impact on the samples collected
arterial sampling for the blood gas analysis sample (pre-analysis and nurses))
