Learning outcomes
At the end of the module the student has the ability to apply knowledge and understanding regarding the most suitable therapeutic modalities in the neurological field. Knows how to design, plan and carry out the physiotherapeutic intervention, identifying the methods and times of application with a view to a global and/or analytical approach.

HEMIPLEGIA: General principles and characteristics, assessment, positioning and transfer techniques, clinical reasoning and intervention techniques Clinical reasoning and patient intervention techniques - indications regarding treatment - secondary syndromes related to the shoulder district; - pushing syndrome; - neuropsychological disorders
THE PATIENT WITH SEVERE ACQUIRED BRAIN INJURY: General principles and characteristics, elements of outcome prediction, evaluation, clinical reasoning and intervention techniques - Indications regarding treatment - prevention of secondary damage - facilitation of recovery interaction with the environment - pluriafferential stimulation techniques
THE PATIENT WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS: General principles and characteristics, assessment, clinical reasoning and intervention techniques - Indications regarding treatment - fatigue in patients with MS
THE SPINE INJURED PATIENT: General principles and characteristics, evaluation, clinical reasoning and intervention techniques - the patient with a complete lesion: characteristics, standard compensatory motor strategies (types of functional hand, joint block, transfer, strategies for proactive and reactive control of the trunk, management of supports, aids) - The incomplete patient: peculiar syndromic characteristics, intervention strategies, clinical reasoning
