Teaching methods

An interactive teaching method is used aimed at involving students in the practical application of what is illustrated. Each student will simulate the role of consultant-manager for the internationalization of a company actually present on the market chosen from a list provided by the teacher. After having found all the information characterizing the chosen company online, for each topic covered during the course, the student will develop practical indications that he deems useful to give to the chosen company with a view to proceeding with an optimized internationalization process. The above method only requires an applied simulation of the contents and you will not be required to get in touch with the chosen company.

Assessment methods

VERIFICATION METHOD
The evaluation includes two distinct written tests: the first in the middle of the course, the second at the end of the course. The overall evaluation is given by the arithmetic mean of the two tests.

IMPORTANT: The exam evaluation (partial or total) can be refused ONLY ONCE
The two tests will be composed of two parts:
- VERIFICATION PART: 12 verification questions on the contents of the course (in the first test the questions will be on the first part of the course carried out, in the second test they will be on the second part of the course). Each correct question is worth two points. Each incorrect answer is worth zero.
- CASE STUDY: the practical application of the contents developed to a real case reported in the test. More specifically, you will be asked to analyze and give appropriate indications to the company that finds itself in a specific situation in the context of internationalization. There will be two open questions and each one can be evaluated from scratch (unclear answer, with inconsistent analysis that repeats what reported in the text and with inconsistent indications provided) to four points (answer with clear and exhaustive analyzes that show understanding and learning of the contents with indications provided that are consistent and adherent to the analyses).
In each intermediate test the maximum score that can be achieved is 32 which corresponds to 30 cum laude.
In the event that the student has not taken the two intermediate partial exams, the exam will be a single test and will concern the verification of the skills acquired over the entire program carried out.

the grade can be refused once (art. 16, co. 5 University teaching regulations)
