Teaching methods
Lectures and practical exercises.
Assessment methods
The exam will be in the form of an oral interview and aims to verify the student's critical and methodological skills. Students (attending and non-attending) must present two written exercises: 1) bibliographic description of a Ricordi printed music edition prior to 1910, chosen by the student, compiled according to the SBN cataloging rules; 2) bibliography on a musicological topic.
The final assessment will be based on the following indications: insufficient grade in case of lack of basic knowledge and inability to produce a correct interpretation of the course topics; sufficient vote in case of possession of basic knowledge and mainly correct interpretation, but carried out with terminological imprecision; good grade in case of possession of intermediate level knowledge and fully correct but not always precise interpretation; excellent grade in case of possession of high level knowledge, interpretation of problems not only correct but carried out with precision and excellent oral expression skills.
