Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student acquires basic knowledge on the use of the main radiological techniques. He is able to manage  the indication and to understand the report of an diagnostic exam (traditional radiology, CT, ultrasound, MRI) relating to alterations of physiotherapeutic interest in certain body areas.

Course contents

How to use the different diagnostic techniques.
Understand the main diagnostic signs of stroke; traumatic head and spinal injuries; of degenerative spinal pathology.
Understanding a diagnostic report.

Teaching methods

PPT PRESENTATION

Assessment methods

The exam will take place in person with a written test on eol.unibo.it application according to UNIBO rules. The test will consist of 31 multiple choice questions and sufficiency is achieved with at least 18 exact answers. Praise will be given if all 31 individual tests are error-free. In the following days the student will receive the mark; he will eventually refuse the vote by communicating it by email to Prof. Cirillo.
