Learning outcomes

The course has the specific educational objective of putting the student in a position to have the tools for understanding a phenomenon (the world of insurance) which both from a financial perspective and from that of liability/guarantee occupies the newspaper pages or the courtrooms.

For students who take the exam as part of Erasmus or other international mobility programs, the exam program will be agreed with the teacher, based on the student's study path and specific interests.

Teaching methods

The exam will take place exclusively in oral form,

Propaedeutics

The exam can be taken only after passing the Civil Law and Commercial Law exam tests.

The evaluation of the test will be carried out taking into consideration:

knowledge of institutional profiles;
the ability to analyze jurisprudential and doctrinal orientations;
the ability to make connections between different parts of the program;
the ability to develop critical arguments;
the articulation of the exhibition;
the accuracy of the exposure.
Grading of the final grade:

- Preparation on a very limited number of topics addressed in the course and analytical skills that emerge only with the help of the teacher, expression in overall correct language → 18-19;
- Preparation on a limited number of topics covered in the course and ability to independently analyze only purely executive questions, expression in correct language → 20-24;
- Preparation on a large number of topics addressed in the course, ability to make independent choices of critical analysis, mastery of specific terminology → 25-29;
- Substantially exhaustive preparation on the topics covered in the course, ability to make autonomous choices of critical analysis and connection, full mastery of the specific terminology and ability to argue and self-reflect → 30-30L.

Assessment methods

During the lessons, in-depth and discussion material will be indicated (judgments and doctrinal essays).
