  • Content strategy
  • Content design
  • Developing an audience
  • Measuring the success
  • Emotion driven design

Readings/Bibliography

Students will have to read and study a set of book chapters and academic articles available on the course teaching platform. Although the course is delivered in Italian, some readings may be in English.

Students with SLD or temporary or permanent disabilities. It is suggested that they get in touch as soon as possible with the relevant University office and with the lecturer in order to seek together the most effective strategies for following the lessons and/or preparing for the examination.

Teaching methods

Lectures with Power Point and Prezi supports, projections of audiovisual materials, and in-class activities.

During the first class, all the teaching methods and tools used will be introduced.

Assessment methods

The final exam consists of two steps that will take place on the same day:

  • a written computer-based test with multiple-choice questions, aimed at evaluating the appropriate study of the bibliography,
  • an oral exam aimed at verifying and evaluate the achievement of the educational purposes pointed out in the program.

The achievement of an organic vision of the themes, the use of specific language, the ability to show a systematic knowledge will be evaluated with excellent grades. Knowledge that is too much based on the readings, a non-articulated ability to synthetize or analyse, or a correct but not always appropriate language, like a school domain of the discipline, lead to average evaluations. Gaps in knowledge or inappropriate language, such as a lack of knowledge of readings and contexts, allow the student to obtain grades on the threshold of sufficiency. Knowledge gaps, inappropriate language, lack of familiarity with the bibliography and inability to analyze are evaluated negatively.

All of the students must sign up to the exam through AlmaEsami. It won't be possible to test students who can't sign up because of delays in the submission of the study plan, in the tax payments, etc. Students who won't be able to take the exam must sign off the list. It is mandatory to bring a valid photo ID the day of the exam, along with the student's Unibo credentials.

Students with SLD or temporary or permanent disabilities. It is necessary to contact the relevant University office with ample time in advance: the office will propose some adjustments, which must in any case be submitted 15 days in advance to the lecturer, who will assess the appropriateness of these in relation to the teaching objectives.
