Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student has general knowledge relating to the main pathologies in developmental age that characterize the discipline in both the neurological and psychiatric fields. Specifically, in relation to the pathologies treated, the student has skills relating to epidemiology, syndromic classification, symptomatology, clinical and instrumental diagnosis, differential diagnosis and the type of treatment, whether medical or rehabilitative.

Course contents

Psychomotor development, cerebral palsy, neuromuscular diseases, intellectual disability, epilepsy, autism spectrum disorders, feeding and eating disorders.

Lecture notes. The teaching material presented during the lessons will be made available to the students on Platform Virtual Learning Environment.

Teaching methods

Lectures with Q&A sessions, for a total of 8 contact hours.
