Learning outcomes

the training in oral medicine will give the ability to:
-make a clinical diagnosis directly on the patient of the oral lesions presented during the taught lessons
-recognize the histological patterns of the oral lesions presented during the taught lessons

Course contents

-histological and immuno-hystochemical patterns of the oral lesions presented during the taught lessons
-clinical examination of patients affected by oral lesions

-attendance of the oral pathology department with the possibility of examine patients affected by oral lesions

Assessment methods

the final examination consists in a practical examination conducted on patients and optical microscope with the aim to evaluate the ability to:
-make a clinical diagnosis directlky on patient of the oral lesions presented during the taught lessons
-recognize the histological patterns of the oral lesions presented during the taught lessons

Teaching tools

all teaching material supporting the training in the department will be supplied to the students in electronic format.
