  • Identifying the essential cores of mathematics.
  • Identifying scientifically relevant and educationally useful contents.
  • Knowing how to use some digital technologies in teaching/learning mathematics and knowing the opportunities and critical issues they present.
  • Designing and developing mathematics lesson plans starting from the national curriculum and standards.
  • Designing and developing laboratory activitis for mathematics.
  • Critically evaluate teaching materials (textbooks and other resources) used in school practice.

The mathematics laboratory; The role of the teacher; Assessment in mathematics; Components of mathematical learning: Conceptual learning; Algorithmic learning; Strategic learning; Communicative learning; Semiotic learning.


Numbers

The numbers in the National Indications; Learning to extend numerical sets; Changing the perspective on operations; Rethinking the teaching of arithmetic; "Pyramids of numbers" laboratory.
