Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student acquires scientific and didactic-training knowledge in the field of sports medicine and in particular knows how to recognize and diagnose some of the most frequent pathologies that occur during sports and is able to prevent complications and treat emergencies, until the arrival of health personnel.

* Diabetes Mellitus: hints of pathophysiology, acute and chronic complications, guidelines for motor activity in the diabetic patient
* Cardiovascular pathologies: hints of pathophysiology, acute and chronic complications, role of motor activity in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases
* Gastrointestinal disorders: hints of pathophysiology, effects of motor activity

* Knee sprains: traumatic mechanisms, clinical tests, surgical indications and rehabilitation concepts after conservative treatment and after surgical treatment
* Ankle sprains: traumatic mechanisms, clinical tests and rehabilitation concepts
* Tendinopathies in athletes: classification, etiopathogenesis, therapy and rehabilitation treatment
* Concepts of traumatology and shoulder rehabilitation with particular regard to rotator cuff tendinopathies
* Muscle injuries: classification, clinic, treatment and rehabilitation

Assessment methods
The test consists of an oral exam. In order to be eligible, it is necessary to register via the internet in Almaesami within the established time limit. The exam sessions will take place at the end of the course of lessons, starting from the month of June. Any negative evaluation (both "withdrawn" and "rejected") will be recorded, as indicated by the didactic regulations, on Almaesami without affecting the curriculum of the student who can repeat the exam in the next session. The presence of the student is not required for the registration on Almaesami.
