Course contents

Students will become familiar with a number of fundamental skills required in order to analyse structures, functions and the textual and discoursal organization of French, oral and written, and become au fait with the terminology, concepts and methods of linguistic observation and analysis. They will be able to understand and analyse texts of various genres and text types as well as be able to express themselves fluently and correctly in complex communicative events.

Readings/Bibliography

Reading materials and bibliography will be provided throughout the course.

Assessment methods


Written and oral examination will take place at the end of the course.  Assessment in progress should be proposed if necessary.
