- Semiconductor devices theory;

- IGBT, MOS;- operational amplifiers.
Design principles of DC servomotors.
- Design scheme of DC PM servomotors
- Design of PID regulators;
- Implementation of PID regulators for servomotors;
- Design principles for Power stage in DC PM servmotors;
- PWM power converter: single and double level modulation;
- Wind-up and saturation;
- Main components of servo drives: sensors, tacho, encoder, resolver;
- differential measurements, speed and position measurements;
Numerical simulation of DC servomotors (MATLAB & simulink)
