Course contents

Classes are organised as follows:

-introductive analysis of the role of women in Roman society;

-in-depth analysis of the relation between women and social life, especially medical, funeral and religious life.

Students not attending classes should contact the professor in order to establish a specific program.

Teaching methods

Classes are held orally by the professor.

Students are required to participate actively with personal opinions and reflections during documents analysis.

 

Assessment methods

The exam is going to be an oral test: the student is required to answer questions both about the manual and the topics and texts analysed in class.

Teaching tools

During the classes the professor is going to show ppt files and to provide paper copies of the analysed documents.
