Learning outcomes
At the end of the training activity the student is familiar with and understands the explicative theories in the environment of Orientation Psychology, with a particular consideration for the practice of guidance and for the typology of orientative and counseling actions- he/she is familiar with and understands aims and professional actions (balance of competences, career counselling, guidance). Is aware of main national and European rules/laws on the subject of orientation and professional training. He/she is able to project and manage informative branches effectively, orientative interventions and evaluation activities of the orientation project.
Course contents
The course will concern three content areas:
- the theoretical models about the career development, with a special attention to the entry and exit work role transitions;
- the vocational guidance interventions (information-guidance-counseling) with a special attention to the practices addressed to the adults;
- the main methods and techniques used in the field of vocational guidance practices

Teaching methods
Didactic methods that will be used to improve knowledge are:
lecture & questions, group work assignments and exercises,
student oral presentation and student report.
Assessment methods
A final oral exam simultaneous with the teaching of the part I and
II characterized by three questions pertinent to the theoretic
sections of the course.- group tasks concerning analysis and
discussion of case studies, or design of intervention.
Teaching tools
During the lessons ppt presentation, papers and articles will be shared with the students and it will be presented some instruments for practical application.
