Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, students will have the basic knwoledge about the italian legal system, the ability to distinguish different legal concepts. Students will also able to apply legal rules to the concrete case.  Therefore, at the end of the course, students will be able to: - analyze case law; - identify the lagal bases of the matter; identify the most relevant legal aspects of an issue.

Course contents

Examination program: 1) normayive sources' system: uniformity of international private law; new lex mercatoria; 2) personal rights: name, personal data, privacy ext. Associations, fountations, committees;  3) property and property interests; 4) Bonds: sources, fulfillment, failure, discharge; 5) Contract law: voidability; sham; hardship ext.; 6) specific contract: sale agency, contract for work and skill; loan agreement; 7) debt securities; 8) tort law; 9) warranty; 10) proof, period of limitation ext.
