Learning outcomes

At the end of the formative activity, the student:

    1. knows the basic concepts of the freudian model and of the post-freudian models
    2. knows the fundamental models and orientations of psychoanalytical theory and is able to compare between them
    3. gains competences on the psychodynamic models of development and of developmental psychopathology
    4. is able to understand and analyze the influence of child experiences on the development of personality and of relational styles

- The Freudian System:  basic concepts

- The Postfreudian orientations:

a) The first debates (Abraham, Ferenczi) 

b) Ego psychology

c) Object relations theory (Klein)

d) The independents (Winnicott)

e) The Bionian model (Bion)

f) The attachment theory

g) Developmental psychoanalysis (Stern)

h) Infant research : the bases of the intersubjectivity

i) Aims of the psychological work

Readings/Bibliography

The books include a manual that analyses all the points of the program, and  books further deepening principal issues

Teaching methods

The course, from the didactic point of view, will concern:

-         frontal lessons about the psychoanalytic model from Freud to up-to-date developments.

-        practices/activities, by reading, video and discussing about some psychoanalytic aspects

Assessment methods

Examination: written test

The written test will tend to verify students' knowledge through close and open questions about the indicated books and the issues of the lessons. The written test concerns three parts: First Part (cap.1-8 of  Blandino's book, score 0-10); Second Part (cap. 9-22 of Blandino's book, score 0-10); Third Part (cap. 23-31 of  Blandino's book plus Winnicott's and Vallino, Macciò's books, score 0-10). The examination is passed with a score = or > 6 in every part. About the questions : 0-1 score for the close ones; 0-2 for the open ones. The examination isn't passed if one part gets score < 6.

There are not any itinere exams.

Examination of the previous accademic years is about the program of the a.a. 2013-2014.
