Reading, interpreting, dating and making a critical edition of a manuscripts.

Course contents

Problems of critical ediction: the critical ediction between philology and diplomatic. The relationship between texts' critical edition of juridical ones, and their use in historical reconstruction.

Teaching methods

The teaching will have character of seminars and will be integrated with practical exercises over documents' reproductions (IX-XIII cent.)
