Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, students will have gained a thorough knowledge of religious systems and acquired advanced methodologies that are useful to interpret their complexity and their mutual relations. Furthermore, students will be able to design scientific projects and evaluate their social incidence. Students will have suitable knowledge to favour interreligious comprehension and communication.

Teaching methods
The course will be organised as a seminar, including readings,
collective debates on parts of the texts to be studied for the
exam, and students' active participation.
Assessment methods
Oral exam.
If requested by students, the exam can be integrated with a written essay about a relevant topic to be agreed with the lecturer.
Teaching tools
As an integration to the seminar-based lectures, further documents will be used, such as films and ethnographic videos.
