Course contents
Dubliners (and beyond)
The course is divided into two parts: in the first group of
lessons, the main aspects of XX century British and Irish
literature, from Modernism to the Fifties, will be investigated; in
the second group of lessons Dubliners by James Joyce will be
analyzed.

Assessment methods
Written test on XX century literature and oral exam on Dubliners. For exchange students: an essay in English on one or more topics of the course, approved by the teacher, could substitute part of the oral exam.
