Learning outcomes
After the course, the students have acquired basic (both active and passive) skills in the French language. In particular, the students are able to: - read, take notes, understand a conversation in French; - explore the special language of politics and the media in the French-speaking cultures.
Course contents
Course title: Langue française et experience migratoire: le cas des Italiens de Montréal
The course main objective is to make students aware of the different elaborations in the French language of migration, through the analysis of the experiences of Italian immigrants in French-speaking Canada.
