Course contents

The course aims to offer a general overview on the model of welfare state systems. It develops a detailed analysis on the different social policies. A particular attention is given to the application of focussed policies in specifical socio-territorial contexts. The lectures will also furnish the basic tools to critically read and evaluate the "legge 328" (impact on the quality of social- educative services and their territorial diffusion).

Teaching methods

Face-to-face lessons based of presentations of slides and multimedial texts. During the course students will be invited to create groups and discuss about the arguments.

Assessment methods

Oral examination. Other products (discussions, paper) will be integrated for the final evaluation.
