Learning outcomes
The student knows and is able to use autonomously the most important information and data transmission resources for the management of traditional and electronics texts, research and documentation tools together with CAT (Computer Assisted Translation) technologies. He also has the terminological abilities relatives to different special languages and reference domains necessary to the translation yield. The student is able to create, manage and evaluate very complex translation projects which request different operational abilities distributed on a number of persons always respecting the professional code of conduct. Finally he is able to work out autonomously further technological and translation knowledge and abilities and to exploit it in different domains

Teaching methods
After a discussion about the different arguments of the didactic program, students carry out a number of practical exercises in order to be able to prepare the terminology project requested for the exam. The project can be carried out individually or in groups of maximum three students.
Assessment methods
Students must create and carry out a terminology and assisted translation project on the basis of a specific subject and simulate a real professional situation.
The project could involve maximum three students.
The exam will consist on the exposition and the comment of the single terminology projects.
The mark will be divided in 3 parts: 15 point to the structuring, the organization and the content of the project, 10 points to its definition and the realization and 5 points to its exposition.
