Learning outcomes
At the end of the Course the student possesses general knowledges on the history of the studies, on the methodology of the religio-historical research, and particularly on religions of the ancient Greece and Rome. It has acquired the ability to understand and use correctly the language and the specific tools of the religio-historical research. He knows the fundamental aspects of the polytheism and particularly religions of the ancient Greece and Rome. Knows the nature of the sources and problems related to their critical use for the historical reconstruction. It knows to communicate in oral shape on the main topics of the discipline.

Assessment methods
The oral examination will aim to verify the understanding of the topics dealt during the Course, the acquisition of the knowledges proposed by the Bibliography prescribed for the individual study and the ability in interpreting documents and linking of research topics and problems.
Teaching tools
The Course includes the utilisation of library and computer lab of the Ancient History Department for researches and texts production.
