Learning outcomes
The student will pursue knowledge regarding the preservation and valorization of artistic traditions, the protection and preservation of Italian cultural heritage often specific to historical site and the protection of the environment .
Course contents
The course will investigate methods of art intervention, issues facing art protection, art management, and management of art databases. The intention is to produce experts in cultural patrimony who will contribute to this strategic sector within the Italian arts.

Oral examination.
The student will choose a foreign museum and furthermore one of the following museums in Bologna:
Museo Civico Archeologico,
Musei di Palazzo Poggi,
Museo Civico Medievale,
Collezioni di Palazzo Comunale,
Museo Davia Bargellini,
Pinacoteca Nazionale,
MAMBO.
Teaching tools
The first lessons will be held in a University classroom. Following lessons will be held in museums, public and private galleries, restoration laboratories, photographic archives.
