Learning outcomes

Neuropsychology is a unique psychological science in which clinical and research aspects integrate with each other to allow a deeper understanding of cognitive processes and their neural substrates. Thus, students will have to acquire knoweldge on mental functions and their neurobiological underpinning, as well as knowledge concerning different neuroscientific methods.

Functional specializations of the two hemispheres in humans and animals

Neuropsychology of perception

Neuropsychology of movement

Different media will be used, including videos of neuropsychological patients. Moreover, cases will be discussed from published articles in English, that will be an integral part of the course.
