Learning outcomes

The course will supply students knowledges and tools to recognise a) active geomorphological processes, b) geoforms and geosculptur of the past and to detect the possible paleoprocesses which allowed their evolution

Course contents

 geomorphology within the geological sciences, azonal and pluri-zonal geomorphology: slope evolution, fluvial geomorphology, intorduction to quantitative geomorphology littoral geomorphology, anthoropic geomorphology. Climatic geomorphology:morphoclimatic systems: glacial, periglacial, temperate, hot humid and hot dry.

  1 credit: feild discussion on karst geomorphology
