Learning outcomes:
The aim of the course is is to provide the basic instruments to solve actuarial problems. Principles of insurance mathematics are introduced and applied to organize basic life insurance contracts, and tecniques of financial management of premiums are illustrated. Non-life insurance is also covered.

A limited level of financial and probabilistic knowledge is assumed at the start of the course.
