Learning outcomes
The theoretical course will look closely at syntax as well as some stylistic features and lexicography.
Course contents
- Formation and use of active and passive participle. Short and long forms of participles.
- Formation and use of gerund. Verbal adverbs.
- Syntax: conjunctions, time and verbal aspects concord.
- Transformation of symple phrase in complex sentence. Exercises on tranlsation.
- Study in deep verbal aspects. Use of prefixed verbs.

Teaching methods
The course in articulated in hours of frontal lesson, in which the linguistic theorical competences are mainly developed.
Oral practice lessons (lexical and grammar practice and oral comprehension and practice) are an essential part of the teaching and exam programs.Assessment methods
The written exam consists of a grammar test and two written translation tests (one from Italian into Russian, without dictionaries, and another form Russian into Italian with a dictionary) - about 4 hours. The written exam is a prerequisite to the oral exam which will include the reading and linguistic analysis of a text in Russian as well as a conversation on an everyday topic dealt with during the course and agreed on with the teachers.
