Learning outcomes

During the course students will receive a thorough knowledge of the main theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of language and languages.

•   On the analysis of the sound aspect of language

Teaching methods

• Face-to-face classes

• An active participation of the learners is recommended

   

Assessment methods

By means of an oral exam the teacher will test in depth and in detail the status of knowledge about topics discussed during the course and in the readings of the programme

 

Teaching tools

1.  A personal computer will be used for acoustic speech analysis and for video- and audio-files presentation

2.  During each class the teacher will distribute a number of specific materials non easily found
