Learning outcomes

The course considers the traditional geographical subjects of location of economic activities and human settlements in a global evolutionary perspective.

- The course suggests modern digital  programmes of cartography (GIS) to represent the connections between human and economic activities.

- The subject deals with the growing interaction between globalisation and development of regional and local systems.

- Finally, all subjects are placed in a perspective of sustainable development.
